Acro Media is featured in the recent publication "Redesigning Websites", published by Rockport Publishers. The firm's redesign work for the Gary Karr Web site (www.garykarr.com) is used as a case study of "Redesigning For The Target Audience".
The six page spread provides samples of before and after versions of the Web site design and an extensive write up to support the creative process. One of Acro Media's lead designers, Jason Poole, is credited with the overwhelmingly successful redesign of www.garykarr.com.
Gary Karr is an acclaimed double bassist living in Victoria BC. He engaged Acro Media to rebuild his Web site following his retirement in 2001. The Web site serves as forum for Gary Karr followers and a marketplace for purchasing exclusive works by the artist. Acro Media designed the site in the spring of 2001 to reflect the artist's creativity and medium.
