Acro Media defines ‘rich media’ as any animated element delivering content e.g. toolbar navigation with button effects and drop down menus; calls to action with transitioning text and/or images; image galleries showcasing product photos; location maps with zooming ability; hovering captions for product details; and audio/video players.
In the project planning phase, Acro Media researches and then determines which media elements fit your specific requirements. Next, we modify, test and integrate them into the site build. Acro Media’s policy is to provide you the maximum amount of rich media, while continuing to meet all project goals and conform to budget.
Acro Media can readily integrate rich media tools including, but not limited to, the following:
SlideShowPro—a dynamic Flash photo gallery and slide show component that displays images in an attractive gallery format. It offers several modes of interactive playback (users can play, pause, stop, etc), and its play modes may be set by default (i.e. autoplay, consecutive, random, and loop). Showcase a multitude of products or designs, illustrate a process or exhibit a portfolio of projects—Acro Media can customize SlideShowPro’s functionality and look to best suit your needs, and in the most attractive way.
SlideShowPro Director—an option that enables you to self-manage your slide show content via Web- based tools. Simply upload the images you wish to display—Director generates the thumbnails and slide show images, organizes the images into albums, publishes the necessary XML coding, and enables you to self-customize your content.
Interactive Flash Map—coordinated to your site’s look, Acro Media’s Flash map is a visually attractive, interactive tool that immediately conveys your company’s national presence. Engage your users to drill down to distinct business locations, or to other content you provide. For example, by clicking on a defined territory (e.g. state) within an Interactive Flash Map the user is taken to a second level of information, e.g. office
addresses, contact information or state regulations. If required, Acro Media will design and implement a results page template, or separate templates for each state.
Basic Videos—a video presentation is dynamic and eye-catching—an ideal way to illustrate a process or service, persuade through a spokesperson, or showcase a physical property or product benefiting from a longer visual presentation. Acro Media takes up to 10 of your video clips and implements them into Flash-enabled players throughout your site. Users enjoy full functionality: play/pause, seek, volume and muting.
Basic Flash Video Player with XML Playlist—offers up an unlimited amount of compelling, dynamic content on your site with a Flash-enabled player customized with your preferred colors. An intuitive interface gives your viewers full control to select a video from a playlist, play or pause it, fast forward or skip back to another video, shoot forward or fall back to any point in a currently selected video, and adjust or mute audio volume.
